To start receiving push notifications, boardees need to opt in through the app. Notification preferences, including granting or revoking consent, can be managed at any time in the device settings.
When a boardee logs in to the installed app on their phone, they will be prompted to allow notifications:
If a boardee clicks “Don’t Allow” in the system pop-up, the “Allow notification” prompt will remain in the Boarding app header. Next time a boardee clicks on the “Allow notification” link, the pop-up with instructions will be shown, explaining how to enable notifications via the Settings:
