How can I translate a Learning Page?

There are two ways how you can translate a Learning Page:

1. TRANSLATION ADDED DIRECTLY INTO THE LPs

1. Click on the 3 dots -> Enter translate mode;

2. Choose the language that you would like to have translated;

3. You can overwrite the content in the default language and upload all images you need to have translated into the local language as mentioned above.

4. Hit save and after publish.

2. TRANSLATION USING THE EXPORT TRANSLATION VIA EXCEL

1. Access the learning page that you would like to translate via the "content" button;

2. Click on the 3 dots -> Export translations;

3. By clicking there, you will automatically get a zip document containing excel files with all possible languages to be translated within this learning page;

4. Open it;

5. Open the excel file with the language that you would like to translate;

6. Within the excel, there are 3 columns: key, default value and the language (if it is French it will be fr-FR);

7. You will add your translations in the last one according to what you see in the second column;

8. When ready, click on save. As the document is "read only" you will have to save it somewhere else (and not within the zip document that you previously got);

9. Save it;

10. Find the document in your files, right click and choose zip or compressed document (the way it is called can vary according to your system);

11. Go back to the learning page where you want to add the translation;

12. Click again on the 3 dots, but this time choose to ""import translations"";

13. Upload the new zip document;

14. Hit save and publish;

15. Your page should be translated.

If you have an image with text in it you will have to translate the text of the image and follow the steps:

1. Click on the 3 dots -> Enter translate mode;

2. Choose the language that you would like to have translated;

3. Click on the image that you want to have the text in the new language;

4. Click on "upload image";

5. Upload the image;

6. Hit save and publish.
