Release 127

Dear User, we are happy to announce another successful release. See below the improvements and bug fixes.

Improvements

Admin app

- Menu : We've made a few improvements to the app menu to make navigation smoother and more intuitive:

  • Clearer names for some menu items
  • Reordered items so the most-used pages are easier to access
  • Refreshed icons to enhance visual accessibility
  • The template selector is now part of the main menu
  • The “Go to employee experience” button has been renamed to “Boardee app” and moved into the menu

These changes aim to make it quicker and easier to find what you need:

-App Switcher for clients with TalentechID enabled: with this change, users will be able to seamlessly switch between products they have access to.

-Form PDFs results availale in the boardee's submission language: we’ve added support for translated PDFs of form submissions. From now on, automatically generated PDFs will be available in the language used by the boardee when completing the form.

This ensures consistency and makes the content easier to understand for HR admins and other involved stakeholders.

- Possibility to deactivate default emails (e.g. Invitation email..)  we’ve made sure the state of the “Active” check box is respected for all email templates, including default (auto-generated) ones.

Now, if an email template doesn’t have the “Active” check box enabled, it won’t be sent.

-Modules page : ''Add Module'' button: the “Add module” button has been moved to the page header for quicker access. This new placement is consistent with other create/add actions across the app, making the experience more intuitive.

Task Interface

-Visibility (start) dat for boardees tasks:
until now, all tasks assigned to boardees were visible from the moment they were created — even if the task wasn’t actionable yet. This often led to long, overwhelming task lists and confusion about what to focus on.

We’ve received consistent feedback from customers asking for a more streamlined and timely experience.

Visible to Boardee setting

To address this, we’ve introduced a new setting: "Visible to boardee". This setting is available for tasks assigned to onboardees (and offboardees), and it allows you to control when a task becomes visible in the Boarding app.

When creating a task, you can now specify how many days before the deadline it should appear on the boardee’s task list — helping keep the focus on what’s relevant at the right time.

When creating a new boardee task, the “Days before the deadline” field will now be automatically prefilled with 5 days — our general recommendation to give boardees enough time to complete their tasks without cluttering the list too early.

My Boardees app & My tasks ( Key contacts app)

-Menu for key contacts: as part of the menu update, we’ve streamlined the menu for key contacts (users without roles) to make it easier to access their tasks and boardees — reducing clicks and improving efficiency.

My boardees dashboard (previously known as My employees) is the central hub for key contacts, like managers, buddies and HR coordinators, to monitor progress and support their connected boardees. If your organization has this feature enabled, you’ll now see the updated name.

The new name better reflects the purpose of the page: it shows the boardees (onboardees and offboardees) connected to the key contact, rather than all employees in the organization.

You can read more about the My boardees feature here.

More intuitive labels for boardee date filters

We’ve refined the labels for filtering the boardee list by target date (start date for onboardees and end date for offboardees). The updated labels — “Target date: from” and “Target date: to” — make the purpose of each filter more intuitive and consistent.

Boarding app

- Visibility (start) date for boardee tasks: tasks visibility under the Active tasks list is now controlled by administrators. This means that not all tasks appear at the same time. Some tasks might appear later to keep the focus on what’s relevant at the right time.

For example, an onboardee with the start date 2025-03-18 has a task with the deadline 30 days after the start date (2025-04-17), and configured to be visible 5 days before the deadline (2025-04-12).

Assigned task with configured visibility date:

When logging on 2025-04-11 the list of Active tasks is empty:
When logging on 2025-04-12 the task appears on the list:

-Badges for the number of attached files and comments: we’ve updated how badges for comments and attachments are shown on tasks. Now, badges will only appear when there is at least one comment or attachment. If there are none, the badge will be hidden. When present, the badge will display the number of items.

This makes it easier for boardees to spot when there’s additional information to review — helping them focus on what matters.

Bug fixes:

- Forms on mobile device - dropdown question error
- Form address field shown always at the bottom
