Improvements

Boardee profile

  • Option to delete files uploaded in Forms

To enhance efficiency in handling forms, we’ve introduced a feature that allows admins to delete files uploaded by onboardees. This helps in removing incorrectly uploaded documents and ensures compliance with data protection regulations in certain countries, where retaining data longer than necessary is prohibited.

The “Delete” option is available to super admin users, and local admins with Delete permissions to Onboardees (given they have access to editing a boardee based on filters).

A user can delete uploaded files one by one using the “Bin” icon, or select multiple files and click “Delete selected”.

Note: Automatically generated pdfs with form results cannot be deleted as they serve as a prove of submission. There is no “Bin” icon next to them, and in case a user selects such document, the “Delete selected” button turns disabled.

Forms: disable manual entry for the Date filed

Currently, the default date format in our boarding platform is “dd-mm-yyyy”.

When a boardee fills in a form with the Date filed, dates can be selected from the calendar OR entered manually from the keyboard. However, manual date input can lead to confusion when the boardee’s common date format is “mm-dd-yyyy” (US format).

To prevent this confusion, we added an option for administrators to disable manual date entry for every date field added to a form – “Disable manual entry”. The default state is “No” (manual entry allowed), but can be switched to “Yes” to disable manual entry for this specific date filed:

In this case, onboardees won’t be able to manually type the date, but will need to select the date from the Calendar instead. This way we ensure that the correct day and month are selected.

Note: The setting needs to be updated for every Date filed in a form.

Dates representation in form results pdfs

To provide consistent experience, and to avoid confusion with the date formats, we changed that way dates are displayed in form results pdfs.

Now, the dates are presented in the following format: dd-month-yyyy, where the month is written as a word (e.g., 01-April-2024).

This approach is aligned with the Date of submission, and the way we display dates in the emails.

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue when special characters (å,ä,ö) were not showing under the Forms section in Onboardees V2
  • We made sure the count of entries now matches the number of rows shown on the list on Users V2 page
  • We removed the Edit button when local admins access accounts of super admins users
