Dear User we are happy to announce the new Release 118, find below the new improvements and bug fixes:
Improvements
Admin Back-End
- Module page Update
We continue upgrading our pages to new technology to enhance user experience and improve app performance. Additionally, transitioning to the new technology enables us to implement future optimizations and features more quickly and seamlessly.
With the release of version 118, the Modules page in the Admin app now features a fresh look and significantly faster loading times.
Key changes:
- Improved loading speed, particularly relevant for apps with numerous modules.
- Filters component aligned with other pages.
- Enhanced drag-and-drop functionality for easier reordering of modules.
- Fixed the error occurring when filtering modules with missing filters.
- Admin Dashboard ''Upcoming onboardees'' section
After the full rollout of Onboardees v2 pages, we've updated the 'Upcoming Onboardees' section on the Admin Dashboard. You can now easily navigate to the onboardees overview by clicking the 'VIEW ALL ONBOARDEES' button.
Please note that the 'Actions' column has been temporarily removed due to technical constraints.
- Users & Onboardees V2 --> set the language for onboardees and users upon creation
Starting from release 118, when manually creating an onboardee or a user, it’s now possible to designate a preferred language. This choice determines the language used for sending invitation emails, provided translations are available.
By default, the company's language is pre-selected. However, admins can select from the list of company-activated languages in the drop-down menu.
For instance, if an admin selects Dutch as the onboardee language, the invitation email will be sent in Dutch, assuming translations exist.
Subsequent emails will follow this language preference unless the onboardee selects a different language on the login page. If a different language is chosen, it will be saved in the profile, ensuring all future communications reflect the new choice.
The selected language also influences the app interface. The same functionality applies to users as well.
- Task Interface--> New visualization of overdue tasks
We've refined the presentation of overdue tasks on both the 'My tasks' and 'Assigned tasks' pages. Now, the entire row of an overdue task is highlighted in red, enhancing visibility, particularly on screens with low resolution or low contrast.
This adjustment aims to assist task assignees and company admins in staying on track with their assignments.
Onboarding app
- Forms pop-up
Based on feedback from some customers who found the pop-up window for onboardees with assigned forms too intrusive, we've made some adjustments. We've refined the text and the call-to-action button to create a more friendly and neutral tone, avoiding pressure to submit a form, especially when it's not mandatory. However, we've retained a reminder for cases where form submission is important.
Additionally, we've updated the call-to-action button functionality. Instead of directing onboardees to a form, they will now be redirected to the Active Tasks page.
- Cookie consent for external sources
In the previous update, we introduced a new feature Cookie consent for external sources. In this latest release, we've expanded this feature to apply to videos directly published on the Dashboard through the Video Message module.
Additionally, we've ensured that the text on the cookies layout screen is now translated into all supported languages.
If you want to enable the feature Cookie consent for external sources please reach out to your CSM.
Content availability for onboardees with missing filters
We've enhanced the logic for displaying content in the Onboarding app for onboardees with missing filters. Now, onboardees without filters (either across all categories or in at least one category) will not see any content until they are assigned relevant filters.
Bug Fixes
- Go to Employee Exper. button - onboardee is created without the "Exclude from the tasks"
From now on, onboardees created automatically when an admin user clicks the “Go to Employee experience button” will be created with the “Exclude from the tasks…” check box enabled.
- Reminder emails are sent to admin-onboardee users
From now on, admins will no longer be receiving reminder emails related to their test onboarding accounts (=onboarding accounts created by a system automatically when an admin logs in to the Onboarding app).
- Pulse check – Visibility of the Warning privacy message
We've resolved an issue where the privacy message warning, added in the Admin app, was not appearing in the Onboarding app. Now, onboardees will see the privacy disclaimer before submitting their responses.
