[Backend] New Onboardee Analytics Dashboard

We have launched a brand new analytics dashboard that features an assortment of onboardee statistics that will give you more insight into the behavior of your new hires. You will find this new feature under the “Reporting” menu of your Admin Portal.

So, first things first let us explain a bit why we have created this dashboard for you. In the past, we have only had the general dashboard accessible to all our clients. Here, a lot of information could be found on an individual basis: Pulse Checks, Device Choice, Activation rates and so on. However, we have had the request of getting more anonymous and generic data in a nice overview in addition to elaborating on the statistics that we currently have. So, we decided to do something about it and create new and insightful dashboards for you. This onboardee dashboard is the first of four or five dashboards we will make. More insights on the content, chatbot and engagement will follow in the future dashboards, but for now let’s explain you some more on the onboardee insights.

Talking about onboardees, one wants to know several things: How many are currently in the application, how many are activitely participating and how much do they exactly participate? Well, these questions are answered in the first block of the new dashboard.

First of all, you can select the timeframe on which you would like to have all information of the dashboard shown. You can select a custom timeframe, see the last months data or even go back some years. When you are sure of the timeframe you have selected you can see several things in the first block: the amount of total onboardees in the application (created, invited, active, closed and deleted), the amount of active onboardees, the completion rate and the activation rate. You can click on the small information button if you need more explanation on what exactly is shown here.

Other than that the new dashboard gives you more information about the time the new hires on average take to activate their account, the distribution of start dates among the new hires and the devices they use to show the content.

All of these can give you a better understanding of the group of people who start to work within your company and show you what makes most sense in terms of presenting the content within the application. Whenever the activation of the profile happens really quick after having sent the invite, a reminder can also follow within a couple of days for the ones who have not done so. Next to that, the device used can play a big role in showcasing your content. Is the platform mainly used on desktop? Then a bit more text on one page does not matter that much. Is it used mainly on mobile, you might consider switching content to video, links or imagery.

Be aware: The information on the dashboard cannot be filtered. This is a feature that will come in the future. However, if you want more information on a specific filter combination you can make use of the general dashboard or ask your Customer Success Manager to help you out.
